Project description
We at the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV, with locations in Freising and Dresden, are leaders in research and development across our business areas: food, packaging, product impact, processing machinery, as well as recycling and environment. The Sensory Analytics and Technologies department focuses, among other things, on analytical and human sensory methods for characterizing and optimizing product properties, such as odor, taste, texture and haptics, as well as visual and acoustic appearance. Be part of change Our Sensory Analytics and Technologies department in Freising offers thesis projects with a possible duration of 3 to 6 months in the following areas: Analytical investigation of odors and aromas, including off-odors Development and validation of miniaturized gas measurement technology and sensor systems Characterization of dynamic emission processes and aroma release VOC analysis in the fields of food, non-food, and health Human sensory studies of food, non-food, and cosmetic products Multisensory perception processes and consumer behavior Scientific substantiation of claims for cosmetic products Development and application of machine learning and data analysis methods
