Job TitleInternship: Training & Capability Support (Master, non-thesis)Job DescriptionStart Date: as soon as possibleDuration: 6 monthsType: Internship (non-thesis)Weekly Presence: 40h (minimum 32h)Location: Amsterdam (2 days/week) & Eindhoven (1 day/week)Internship: Training & Capability Support (Master, non-thesis)Join Philips’ global Capability Management & Tranformation team and contribute to the coordination, creation, and delivery of training programs that support global standard processes across supply chain, R&D, commercial teams, and respiratory‑related business domains.In this role, you will collaborate with trainers, change managers, and business process experts to ensure high‑quality training materials, structured deployment planning, and smooth execution of learning activities. Working across multiple stakeholder groups, you will help synchronize training plans, improve content consistency, and support capability development efforts for diverse audiences worldwide. This internship offers a 50/50 split between supporting global capability‑building programs, including training design, planning, and user engagement. Coordinating training execution, including logistics, stakeholder alignment, session readiness, tracking participation, and collecting feedback for continuous improvement. Your role:Training Material Development SupportPrepare and format training materials (slides, user guides, quick reference guides, exercises) based on inputs from BPEs and the Change/Capability teamEnsure materials follow templates, branding, and structural standardsConsolidate contributions from different creators into consistent training packsMaintain version control and ensure the latest content is availableTraining Deployment CoordinationSupport planning and logistics for training sessions (calendar, invitations, materials, readiness)Prepare final training packs and ensure trainers receive all required contentCollect updated materials from trainers and ensure session readinessTraining Repository & Knowledge ManagementMaintain the central repository (SharePoint or equivalent)Ensure correct file naming, versioning, and accessibilityTrack updates and archive outdated materialsTraining Data & Feedback TrackingTrack participation, attendance, and completionConsolidate participant feedback (surveys/forms)Maintain dashboards or trackers for deployment status and insightsContinuous Improvement SupportIdentify gaps or inconsistencies in training contentSupport updates based on trainer or user feedbackHelp improve learning assets, training packs, and instructional qualityCross‑functional CollaborationCoordinate with global teams to align training plansSupport training execution for R&D, commercial, and supply chain stakeholdersWork on synchronizing activities across different audiences and topic ownersYou're the right fit if:You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree, preferably MBAYou have completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, or a related fieldYou have strong communication and collaboration skillsYou are structured, self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable working with diverse stakeholdersYou have experience or interest in: training coordination or instructional support, capability building or organizational development, and working with cross‑functional teamsYou have skills in:MS Excel & PowerPointDocument and content managementLearning Management Systems (LMS)Basic video recording / editingBasic Generative AI toolsHow we work togetherWe believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level. If you need to relocate to The Netherlands specifically for the internship there will be a different allowance. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata. Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (one way). Afterwards, you need to provide the rental contract from your (new) landlord. Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport (OV chipkaart - student travel product); you can receive max. €192,- net depending on your location.
