Accounts, browser storage and contact messages

Graduates Corner has no visitor accounts: you cannot register or sign in, and we do not collect account profiles. Saved searches, comparison lists, and application checklists stay in your own browser and can be cleared there; they are never sent to us. When direct contact sending is enabled, the contact form sends your name, email address, subject and message to our mailbox through Resend so we can reply. We do not store contact messages in the website database. When sending is unavailable, use the copy options or your own email service. Contact drafts are not saved in browser storage.

What we process and why

We publish opportunity listings, guides, and articles. To deliver and secure the website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs, based on our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f)). Contact form messages and emails you send us are used only to answer you or act on your report, and legal requests are handled to comply with our obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).

Providers and international transfers

We use Vercel for hosting and technical logs, Supabase as the database for published listings and articles, and for hashed contact rate-limit keys when direct sending is enabled; Resend for contact email delivery when enabled; and, when enabled, Google for advertising. These providers publish their own privacy and subprocessor information. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, the provider relies on an applicable adequacy decision or safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. External application sites operate under their own privacy notices.

Cookies, advertising, and browser storage

We set no login cookies. Browser storage supports requested features such as opportunity comparison, saved searches, and interface preferences, and stays on your device. If Google advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, limit, and protect ads. Visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland receive a Google-certified consent message before advertising storage or personalised advertising is used. Visitors can accept, reject, or manage those choices through the privacy message. Non-personalised ads may still use limited data such as approximate location, page context, and fraud-prevention signals.

Retention and deletion

We keep no visitor accounts or profiles. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your message, normally no longer than 24 months. Contact rate-limit records contain a hashed network identifier, not message contents. Hosting, delivery and security logs, caches, and backups follow the retention schedules of the relevant provider.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, and, where applicable, portability of any personal data we hold about you, such as an email you sent us. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, such as advertising choices, you may withdraw it at any time through the privacy message without affecting earlier lawful processing. Requests normally receive a response within one month; for complex or numerous requests, up to two further months are allowed if we explain the extension within the first month.

Recommendations and complaints

The opportunity assistant uses listing information and filters to help discovery; it does not make admission or employment decisions. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including in the country where you live, work, or where a suspected infringement occurred. In Sweden, the authority is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY). You do not need to contact us before complaining.
