Project description

Original title: PhD kandidaat: De-escaleren van agressie tussen frontliniewerkers en burgers

Je focust op medewerkers in het openbaar vervoer en voert participerende observaties uit in die context;
Je onderhoudt nauw contact met maatschappelijke partners en deelt doorlopend ervaringen (bij voorkeur in het Nederlands);
Je verzamelt bodycam- en CCTV-videobeelden binnen de gekozen werkcontext;
Je ontwikkelt een video-observatie-instrument en gebruik dit om videomateriaal te analyseren;
Je voert statistische analyses uit;
Je combineert jouw data met die van de rest van het team om gezamenlijk onderzoeksresultaten op te leveren;
Je presenteert resultaten op academische conferenties en workshops, aan maatschappelijke partners en in praktijkgerichte settings;
Je publiceert in academische tijdschriften en vertaalt bevindingen naar factsheets voor professionals;
Je draagt bij aan en co-organiseert datasessies, gezamenlijke onderzoeksprojecten, workshops en communicatie- en disseminatieactiviteiten van het team;
Je volgt relevante cursussen en trainingen;
Je neemt actief deel aan het De-Escalation Lab en de onderzoeksgroep Social Change and Conflict aan de VU, en je participeert in het intellectuele leven van de afdeling Sociologie.
